Gabi, Netela and Scarf are variations of Ethiopian Shawls. Our selections have two major groups of Gabi and Scarves.
Gabi 1 & 2: Heavy cloth which is best describes as a throw or light blanket. We carry two types of the Gabi.
#1 - This has a large pattern (tilet), and features a different pattern on each side.
#2 - This has a thin pattern (tilet), with the same pattern on both sides.
Netela 3: Light gauze cloth is worn for more formal occasions. The netela usually has a very colorful border on it, which is matched on the bottom hem of the women's dress it is worn with. It is draped over the shoulders for an elegant look. It can be worn with its matching dress or over casual clothes.
Scarves 4 & 5: Light gauze like cloth, but smaller & thinner versions of Netela. Considered trendy and usually an accent with Western clothes such as jeans and other casual wear. We carry two types of Scarves.
#4 - Scarf - white cloth with colorful patterns (tilet).
#5 - Silk Scarf - full of vivid colors and made from silk.
